1 killed, 2 injured in 2-car crash in Santa Ana

SANTA ANA – One person was killed and two other people were injured at a two-vehicle traffic crash Sunday morning in Santa Ana.

The crash occurred at 2:20 a.m. in the area of South Grand and East McFadden avenues, according to a Santa Ana Police Department dispatcher.

One person had to be freed using the Jaws of Life, according to sources at the scene.

It was not known whether the fatality was pronounced at the scene or later at an area hospital, and the condition of the injured was also not known.
