Adversity isn’t always facing a match point in the NCAA Finals or Olympic Games.
Danielle Scott-Arruda met those kind of challenges and more in her illustrious volleyball career that covered more than two decades and included more accolades than any American volleyball player has ever enjoyed. She was the 6-foot-4 cornerstone of three Long Beach State volleyball teams that went to the Final Four, culminating with a NCAA title and player of the year honors in 1993.
