The Carvery is the latest addition to downtown Long Beach’s hottest corner

If you’re in the mood for, say, getting some drinks and watching a game, or listening to live music, maybe doing a little dancing and, oh yeah, a nice dinner in downtown Long Beach, Ron Hodges has pretty much cornered the market on doing all of that in one building.

The Carvery, a new restaurant with a focus on smoked meats and craft drinks is the latest addition to the Rowan-Bradley Building, or as it’s been dubbed by Hodges and his son Riley, who own and operate the building, Shannon’s Corner.
