Puka Nacua had long seemed bound for USC.
It was last June when Nacua, a wide receiver from Orem, Utah, verbally committed to the Trojans in a tweet that included a note thanking family, friends and coaches and pictures posing with USC coach Clay Helton.
But Nacua never signed his letter of intent with the Trojans during the early signing period in December, nor on the traditional national signing day last week, as he continued to weigh scholarship offers from about a half-dozen other Pac-12 schools.
