The reeling Ducks, losers of 11 consecutive games, traded ironman left wing Andrew Cogliano to the Dallas Stars on Monday in exchange for center Devin Shore. Cogliano played in 584 games over eight seasons with the Ducks, sitting out only twice because of an NHL suspension last season.
General Manger Bob Murray hinted that changes in personnel could be upcoming when he issued a postgame statement after the Ducks’ 4-3 overtime loss Sunday to the Winnipeg Jets extended their franchise-record skid. Murray said he wasn’t considering a coaching change “at this time.”
