2019 Golden Globes: ‘Vice,’ comedic take on Dick Cheney, leads nominations

BEVERLY HILLS — “Vice,” a comedic portrayal of the political rise of former Vice President Dick Cheney, scored a leading six nominations Thursday for the 76th annual Golden Globe Awards, while “A Star Is Born,” “Green Book” and “The Favourite” each collected five.

“Vice,” “The Favourite” and “Green Book” were all nominated for best musical/comedy film, along with “Crazy Rich Asians” and “Mary Poppins Returns.”
