LOS ANGELES — Once again, Josh Hart found himself employing the “next man up” mantra.
After saying much the same when veteran point guard Rajon Rondo went down with a broken hand on Nov. 14, on Wednesday the Lakers were forced to consider what it might mean to move forward without their play-making forward Brandon Ingram, at least for a while.
The starting forward will miss an indeterminate amount of time after he suffered a sprained left ankle with about 6:35 left in the first quarter of the Lakers’ 121-113 victory over the San Antonio Spurs at Staples Center.
