It’s over! These Six Flags coffin contestants endured 30 hours of thunder, lightning and rain

If you have to lie in a pine box exposed to the elements for 30 hours, this weekend was probably the worst time for it.

But all of the drama in the sky – the light, the noise, the wind, the pelting rain, the thunder, and lightning – couldn’t scare away the contestants of Six Flags Magic Mountain’s inaugural 30-Hour Coffin Challenge.

As park president Neal Thurman counted down the seconds and Fright Fest ghouls banged on the boxes for the drenched participants to “Wake up!,” all six of the coffin dwellers – and that includes Randy Chavez, a video producer from the Woody Show [READ MORE HERE]
