Whicker: Dodgers might be saving the starting pitcher from the endangered list

ATLANTA — The Braves do not need to hear that Walker Buehler has been the Dodgers’ best pitcher

They are 9 for 62 in two National League Division Series games, with no runs. Against Hyun-Jin Ryu and Clayton Kershaw, they were 5 for 50.

Three of those hits were slow dribblers through the infield. Another was a comebacker that Kershaw couldn’t handle. Only one was a true rocket, off the talented bat of Ronald Acuña Jr.

The Braves have struck out 15 times and are looking for their first walk, although not particularly hard. They’re zero for 6 with men in scoring position. [READ MORE HERE]
