Age: 8 years

Gender: Neutered male

Duke’s story: Duke was rescued off the streets of Hawthorne. He was found, curled up in a ball, almost unrecognizable as a dog. He was living in deplorable conditions with no access to regular food or water.  Upon arrival he was sick and emaciated, had an eye infection that caused temporary blindness, and could barely walk due to a back injury. He looked to have been severely abused and neglected.
