What can you learn from reviewing your completed tax returns?

Don’t just sign on the dotted lines of your tax returns. Take a few minutes to gain a better understanding of your finances by reviewing those completed returns.

In February, March, and sometimes April, we sort through our past years’ receipts and tax reporting forms, gathering data to present to our tax preparer. Unless our income is very low, we need to complete our tax returns or file an extension with the IRS, by the deadline of April 15.
