Suspect in officer-involved shooting in Anaheim flees into neighborhood, nearby school on lockdown

Anaheim police are searching for a suspect in an officer-involved shooting who fled into a neighborhood, prompting a lockdown of a nearby school Tuesday afternoon, April 17.

It was immediately known if anyone was wounded during the shooting.

A helicopter was making announcements and searching the area where the shooting happened on Almond and Redwood avenues, Anaheim police shared on social media.

“The suspect is believed to be armed and dangerous,” the Anaheim Police Department posted on Facebook.
