More dumplings are coming to Orange County when JA Jiaozi, a Chinese chain, opens its first American outpost in early May at the Irvine Marketplace. The restaurant, a 2,954 square foot space, will bring seasonal offerings with no artificial coloring, preservatives or MSG.
Menu items will include steamed, boiled and fried dumplings in flavors such as cod fish and chives ($11.50) and the JA Signature with pork dried shrimp and shrimp roe ($11.50). Stir fried veggie dishes range from $9.50-$11.50, noodle dishes are $12.50. House specialties include Braised Brisket with Quail Eggs ($16.50).
