Corky Carroll: Starring in Miller Lite ads was a tough job, but someone had to do it

Continuing with the story of my years with the “Miller Lite All-Stars,” doing television commercials and personal appearances:

We shot my first commercial at a little bar in Hermosa Beach called the Poop Deck. Dewey Weber used to hang out there and he came by during the shoot to say hello. I think he wanted to get in on it as an extra, but it was already cast. He had great success as a kid when he was “Buster Brown” in the Buster Brown shoe commercials.
