Six years ago, in a quiet corner of the Seattle Seahawks headquarters along Lake Washington, Pete Carroll explained to me the first time he broke down film of Russell Wilson. It was at the behest of Seahawks general manager John Schneider, who had developed a liking for Wilson upon tracking him during his senior year at Wisconsin.
