Three injured in Brea head-on collision

BREA — Three people were injured after two cars collided head-on Saturday morning, police said.

One of the cars, which was traveling west on Lambert Road, crossed over the center median near the intersection of Cliffwood Avenue and struck an eastbound vehicle about 9:38 a.m., Brea Police Sgt. Tim Mercado said.

The driver of the westbound car and the driver and a passenger in the other car were transported to UCI Medical Center, he said.

Mercado said their injuries are not life-threatening. It is not clear if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash, he said, adding that the investigation is [READ MORE HERE]
