Irvine police seek suspect caught on camera stealing teacher’s wallet from church classroom

Irvine police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect who stole a teacher’s wallet from inside her purse that was left in an empty church classroom.

The theft was caught on camera and the police department has posted the surveillance video on its Facebook page with the hope that someone might be able to identify the suspect. As of Saturday afternoon, the suspect remained unidentified, officials said.
