Northview wrestling opens season with loss to Servite

COVINA — It is a rare occurrence in high school wrestling these days for two of the top programs in Southern California face off in a preseason dual meet. In the end, it more than lived up to the hype.

In a preview of a possible CIF Southern Section final at the end of the season, visiting Servite High defeated Northview 33-30 on Thursday night. It was the season opener for both squads.
