Mayors of Anaheim and Calgary face off over a best-of-seven series of hockey games in the first round of the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The competition is heating up on and off the ice as the Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames face off in the first round of the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait and Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi have agreed to a friendly, three-part wager on the best-of-seven series.
If Anaheim wins, Ducks mascot Wild Wing will take over Mayor Nenshi’s office for a day as Calgary’s unofficial “mayor for a day.”
