Dr. Jim Garrow: The Media’s Religious Fervor For “Societal Change”

The Media’s Religious Fervor For “Societal Change”.

Once again I actively and purposefully did not watch the Oscar Awards. In the interest of keeping the blood pressure low and the television unbroken, I prepared for my audition later today.

It is almost needless to say that I am tired of the constant propagandizing on the part of those who derive their fortunes on the backs of the paying public. Always pushing their agenda of “societal change”, they have their evening of preening themselves in public and patting themselves on the back (aka Oscar night), while the number of viewers steadily declines as more folks like myself detach ourselves from the barrage of “outraged” propaganda.

The favourite target this year is the President, but the subliminal message is that buggery is beautiful. Yes, I said it. The homosexual act is something that the actors guild and its members want to entrench as “normal” behavior in the minds of the viewing public. They declare it at every opportunity though the act itself is not ever identified. Dirty, brutal and an abomination in the eyes of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The purpose of the evening in praise of acting prowess and cinematic excellence is so often overshadowed by the politically correct pronouncements of the day that it becomes boring to the viewer. Take away all the ranting time and the night could be an hour and a half shorter or you could be like me and not watch it at all and read about it the next day. What a time saver.

My hobby takes me to an audition for “Reeces Cups” today where I get to show my prowess as a hockey player which should come as a very large surprise to the crew. In actual fact my last student staff hockey game saw me scoring 5 times against a Junior A goalie who was so angry by the end of the game he could have spat on me. Old does not mean unskilled, it just means craftier and more deliberate.
